Troubleshoot Fing Desktop: Check Fing Desktop Version and Preferences

Fing Desktop Version

Click the Fing Desktop version number at the bottom of the left sidebar.

A window will open with two tabs:

• About
• Credits

About

In About, you can access the following:

• Share your feedback
• Release Notes
• Open Service Log Folder
• Open App Log Folder

Preferences

To open preferences, click your username at the bottom of the left sidebar.

A window will open with the following options:

• My queries
• Edit profile
• Help
• Preferences
• Sign Out

Preferences

In Preferences, you can change the settings of Fing Desktop relating to launch options, window display and notification preferences. You will be presented with the following options:

• App
• Notification
• Local API
