Troubleshoot Fing Desktop: Check Fing Desktop Version and Preferences

Fing Desktop Version

On the main Dashboard, you can find the version number on the lower part of the left navigation bar.

Click on the version number to access more information including 

• Share your feedback
• View Release Notes
• Open Service Log Folder
• Open App Log Folder

Preferences

To open preferences, click your username at the bottom of the left sidebar.

A window will open with the following options:

• My queries
• Edit profile
• Help
• Preferences
• Sign Out

Preferences

In Preferences, you can change the settings of Fing Desktop relating to launch options, window display and notification preferences. You will be presented with the following options:

• App
• Notification
• Local API
