You will receive a connectivity alert when Fing desktop is unable to run connectivity checks if the device is in sleep mode or the Internet is disconnected.
Click the Alert notification to display the home screen. You are prompted to re-run the connectivity scan or check if there is an error. When you manually scan or refresh the network, Fing desktop re-runs the network scan, can talk to its servers and runs checks to discern if everything is working.
You can also refresh the scan to ensure everything is working.
Fing desktop runs the scan every 40-60 mins for free users, every 30 minutes for Fing Starter users, and every continuously for Fing Premium users.
