Question: What payment methods can I use to subscribe to Fing Premium?

To subscribe to Fing Premium, you can use any major Credit Card, Debit Card, or PayPal.

Question: I am trying to subscribe to Fing Premium, however, my card was declined. What can I do?

If your transaction/card has been declined, please complete the following basic checks:

  •       Confirm that there are sufficient funds in your account/on your card.
  •       Review the card details entered to ensure they are accurate and in the correct fields.

If the issue persists, this may be due to your card provider not authorizing the transaction. Please contact your card provider in order to authorize the transaction.

Question: I am trying to subscribe, however, my VAT number was not accepted?

When a VAT number or VAT details are not accepted, this is generally usually due to the company name and details not matching the VAT number.

When entering a VAT number, ensure that the VAT name matches the registered company name. This can be checked online via the VIES database here: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatRequest.html.

Alternatively, you can leave the VAT number field ‘blank' as it is not a required field.

Question: I am trying to subscribe, however, my ZIP code/ Postal code is not accepted?

Please try again, however when choosing the country, go to the scroll options and choose the specific country (even if the correct country is already populated).

For example, if you select the United States,  do this.

When you proceed to the payment page and have filled out all of your payment details (including your ZIP code) and you see that the correct country, for example, ‘United States’, is populated, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the country name and scroll to ‘United States’ manually).

This should then resolve the problem.

Question: I have already subscribed to Fing Premium. Can I change my subscription plan?

Yes, you can change from monthly to yearly, and vice-versa, at any time from your Fing dashboard. 

To access the product dashboard, click on your user name/Avatar on your Fing Desktop display.  Changes are pro-rated. When a customer’s subscription changes during a billing cycle, a proration line item is applied on their next invoice. If a customer whose subscription is billed on the first of the month changes to a more expensive option, they get a credit for the unused portion of the subscription at the old price and are billed for only the remainder of the month for the new price.

If the subscription changes from yearly to monthly, the change will be applied at the next billing cycle, that is after the year has elapsed.

 

Question: How can I cancel my Fing Premium?

Cancel your subscription through the channel you used to subscribe.  For example, if you subscribed though the App Store, cancel through the App Store.  If you have any difficulty cancelling, send email to support@fing.com.

Open Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Select Subscription > Cancel Subscription.

Fing Mobile Android

Cancel from Google Play Android Go to Subscriptions in Google Play  subscriptions in Google Play. Select subscription > Cancel subscription.

Fing Web App

Cancel from Fing website https://app.fing.com/account/manage/subscription or send email to  support@fing.com

From Fing web app, click on your name to display the Account page.

Select Subscription Plan > Cancel.

 

Can I get a refund for my Fing Premium?

Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial period or unused functionality.

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the Subscription services up to the end of your billing period. Fing may vary the fees for Subscription and other charges at any time. Such price changes will not affect existing Subscriptions or licenses already purchased.

Question: Will I still see Ads on my devices (e.g. Fing Mobile App) if I have a Fing Premium Subscription?

If you are using the same email address which you used on Fing desktop to buy the premium subscription then you won’t have to get another subscription for your mobile app and you won’t see any ads for any of your devices.
 
If you have a Fingbox connected, or are subscribed to Fing Premium, this will provide an ads-free experience on all our applications.
