When you first launch the Fing Application, it automatically discovers and displays an at-a-glance view of your network, including product names, device status, security, link speed, changes, and other important and interesting information about your network. If not already selected, click Overview on the left navigation panel on Fing Web App or Fing Desktop, or the navigation bar on the mobile App to display the dashboard.
Fing Dashboard-Web App View
The Fing Dashboard is automatically displayed when you launch the Fing Web App. You can use the left navigation bar or click on any of the four interface cards as an easy way to view or perform network tasks, for example, get a device inventory, review your ISP performance, see your security status, and view a timeline and list of network events.
Below is a quick tour of the Web App dashboard showing how to navigate using cards or menus, the menus for changing networks and network context, as well as other menu options and entry points.
Web Dashboard Navigation Cards
Tasks and information are categorized by the cards displayed on the dashboard--Connected Devices, Who's Online, Timeline of Events, Internet Performance, Internet Setup and Security Profile. Each card provides an at-a-glance summary of key information. Select each card to show expanded information and insights. The summaries save time so you can see easily where you need to take immediate action.
Connected Devices
The Connected Devices card shows a complete view and list of all devices - type, model, name, status, and last update. You can filter by device status, brand, or type, or search for any model or brand.

The Who's Online card accesses user and presence information. Presence shows you specific information about who is on your network at all times, lets you block intruders, manage family use, and optimize performance. See Assign and Manage Users and Track Internet Use (Presence) to assign or change users.
Timeline of Events
The Fing Timeline of Events card provides a recent and historical record of all events that ocurred on your network. A network event is any activity or change on your network, for example, users or devices going online or offline. Events about security and network updates are also displayed and recorded. See Timeline of Events for details.
Internet Performance
Use the Internet Performance card to view and monitor your Internet performance and how it compares to average ISP performance in your area. You can easily see if your internet is slower or faster than other IPSs. You can see your current internet speed, your ISP provider, and average speed over a specified number of days. You can view the results of the latest speed test performed (Fing Web App).
