Remove or Delete a Previously Scanned Network

Fang stores all previously discovered or scanned networks.   You can delete any network that you no longer want to view.   You can delete any previously scanned network using the Fing Web App, including networks scanned on the Fing Mobile App, Fing Desktop, or Fing Web App.   You cannot delete a previously scanned network directly from Fing Desktop.   You can delete a network scanned on Fing Mobile App using the Fing Mobile App.   

Delete a Scanned Network Using Fing Web App

  1. Sign in to the Fing Web App
  2. In the list of networks on the left of the page, click the network you want to delete
  3. Click the Settings button (the gear icon at the top right corner). This will open a list of options.
  4. Click on the Delete this Network
  5. Click Delete

Fing Mobile App or Mobile App Controlled Agent or Monitoring Unit

  1. Sign in to Fing Mobile App.
  2. From Overview, click the circular icon with three dots at the top right of the page. The My Networks page is displayed showing a list of previously scanned and monitored networks.
  3. Hold your finger or swipe left on the network you wish to delete and click Delete.
  4. Click Confirm.
