Remove or Delete a Previously Scanned Network

Fing stores all previously discovered or scanned networks.   You can delete any network that you no longer want to view.   You can have up to three scanned networks with Fing Premium or one with Fing Starter.  You can delete any previously scanned network using Fing Web App, including networks scanned on the Fing Mobile App, Fing Desktop, or Fing Web App.   You cannot delete a previously scanned network directly from Fing Desktop.  

Delete a Previously Scanned Network using Fing Web App

To delete a  previously scanned or monitored network from Fing Web App, do this:

  1. From the Web App Dashboard navigation bar, select Devices or select the Connected Devices card.
  2. Select a network from the drop-down list of networks.
  3. Select the network you want to delete from the list of networks in the pop-up window.
  4. Select Manage > Delete Network from the horizontal menu on the upper right of the window.  The selected network is deleted.

Delete a Network from Fing Mobile App or Mobile App Controlled Agent or Monitoring Unit

  1. Sign in to Fing Mobile App.
  2. From Overview, click the circular icon with three dots at the top right of the page. The My Networks page is displayed showing a list of previously scanned and monitored networks.
  3. Hold your finger or swipe left on the network you wish to delete and click Delete.
  4. Click Confirm.
