Remove or Delete a Monitored Network from Fing Desktop

You can remove or delete a monitored network from Fing Desktop.  If Fing Desktop is actively monitoring the network you'd like to delete, you need to deactivate or disable monitoring on that network first using the Monitoring Sources screen.

Deactivate the Network You Want to Remove

On Fing Web App, click on your initial on the dashboard to display the Profile menu and then select Monitoring Sources.

Select the Active network that you want to delete to show the Deactivate option, and then click Deactivate.

Remove the Network

After you deactivate the network, do this to remove it:

  1. Select the drop-down menu beside the network name in the top-left part of the Fing App dashboard to display the list of monitored (green) and scanned networks (in blue).   Select the Monitored network you want to remove
  2. Select Manage > Delete this Network from the top right menu.   If the Delete option is not shown, you may need to refresh the Fing App or confirm that you have deactivated the network first.  You are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the network.

  3. Click Delete Network to remove the network.
