Configure Fing Desktop Application Settings

As part of your Fing profile, you can set or modify how Fing launches and how updates are managed.  You can also set or change your language.  Click on your initial on the Fing dashboard navigation menu to display the Profile pull-down menu, and then select App Settings to display the App Settings window.

You can choose to launch Fing automatically at startup (Launch Fing at Startup) or minimize it and open it only from the system tray or menu bar (Start Minimized).  

Select Enable automatic updates to automatically install the latest version of Fing when you open the app.

Select Notifications from the top menu to disable or enable Fing notifications.   Select Auto-dismiss read notifications to automatically mark notifications as read.
