Disable or Turn Off All Notifications and Communications from Fing

Fing sends regular notifications and emails about network updates, changes, new events, and security issues on your network.  Notifications are enabled by default.  To disable all notifications from Fing, change your profile settings.  When you disable Fing communications, you can still view network events through the Timeline of Events feature.   If you want more information on Alerts and Notifications, see Manage Fing Notifications.

Disable Notifications on Fing Desktop and Fing Web App

To disable notifications on Fing Desktop and Fing Web App, including emails, do this:

1. From the dashboard navigation bar or home page, select your initial and then select Edit Profile to see Manage account page.
2. Select Notifications from the Manage Account top-level menu to display the Notifications screen.
3. Under Network Alerts, select Disabled to turn off alerts and notifications about network events.

Disable  Notifications and Alerts from Fing on Fing Mobile and Mobile Controlled Monitoring Units

To disable Fing communications on Fing Mobile, do this:

1. Select Account from the dashboard navigation bar on the lower part of the screen, and then select Notification Settings.  The Notification Settings window is displayed.
2. In the Send mail alert as field, select Do Not Send.
3. In the Send notifications as field, select Do Not Send.
