Test plan

Different network setups and types of devices may lead to different results. To test the feature, we suggest a few relevant items and a potential test plan that would help formalize the tests to perform.

Network connectivity details that are relevant to the plan:

  • Type of router: standard or mesh router
  • Model of router
  • Number of access points
  • Use of Wi-Fi extenders
  • Check if Fing Desktop is:
    • Connected via Wi-Fi or ethernet cable
    • Running on a PC with VPN enabled
