Change email address

You may need to change your email address, for example, when you change jobs or set up a shared account.

To change the email address for your Fing Account or Fingbox, submit a request.

Note: For privacy reasons, do not make these requests publicly.

Change Fing App email address

If you do not have a Fingbox, you need to change the email address for your Fing App.

To set up a new account using a new email address:

1. Create a new Fing account with the new email address.
2. Submit a request.
3. Enter a subject. For example, 'Change email address for my Fing App.
4. In the Description, ask to change the email address for your Fing App. Provide the email address. you currently use for the Fing App and the new email address you want to use instead.
5. Click Submit.

Change Fing App email address: Fing Starter and Premium

To change the email address for your Fing App if you do not have a Fingbox but have an annual Fing Starter or Fing Premium subscription, contact support@fing.com and we will process your request.

Change Fingbox email address: Retain history and records

To change the email address for your Fingbox, we need to verify your account.

To have your account verified:

1. Create a new Fing account with the new email address (this will link the Fingbox to the new account).
2. Submit a request. In the request, include the following:
   1.  Enter a subject. 'Change email address for my Fingbox.
   2. In the Description, ask to change the email address for your Fingbox. Provide the email address. you currently use for the Fing App and the new email address you want to use instead. Request to retain all your Fingbox history and records.
   3. In the Fingbox MAC Address, provide the MAC address of your Fingbox. The MAC address is found beside the barcode on your Fingbox unit.
3. Click Submit.

Change Fingbox email address: Delete history and records

This is a reset of your Fingbox. To do this, we need to verify your account. To verify your account, follow the steps in the above section, but in the Description request to delete all your Fingbox history and records.

Email requests to Fing

Alternatively, email support@fing.com to change the email address for your Fing Account or Fingbox. Provide the new email address for your Fing App or Fingbox. Send the email from the email address you currently use for the Fing App or Fingbox you want to delete.
