The Connectivity report determines if your network is secure and identifies possible alerts or warnings.
The Connectivity Report allows you to share your network issues with friends, the Fing Community and Fing Support. Get advice from people to solve your problem.
This feature is only available on Fing Desktop. Fing Desktop constantly monitors your network and sends you automatic notifications in the event of issues.
Where is the Connectivity Report?
To access the Connectivity report: from Overview, click the blue Connectivity Report button at the top left of the page. This will bring you to the Your connectivity health page.
Here, you will see the following filter options:
- All
- Info
- Warn
- Fail
- Advanced features
Below the filters, you will see a series of reports. If there is a problem detected you will get a report about your connection issue with information on how to fix it. To get this information, click on the question mark icon to the right of the selected report and this will bring up a window with the following options:
- Technical definition: This will tell you what the issue is
- What it means for me: What the issue may do to your network and device
- How can I fix this: How to solve the issue
You can also click the blue Get advice button to ask the Fing Community for help at the bottom right of the window.
