Find Hidden Cameras

This tool allows you to find any hidden cameras on your network.  These devices can include other monitorig devices including baby monitors or security systems.

To find hidden cameras using Fing desktop, from the left navigation bar, select Tools > Hidden Camera to display the Find hidden cameras window.

Confirm Devices

Some devices may be listed as Unconfirmed.  The Hidden Camera tool also shows any unconfirmed devices so you can confirm for recognition.

When you are alerted that a device has joined your network,  you are prompted to confirm that you accept or recognize that device. Confirming a device means you allow this device to join your network  and that it is trusted device you know.

You can see a list of all the devices that have connected to your network In the Devices window on Fing Desktop, Fing Mobile App and Fing Web App.  Any device attempting to join your network displays an orange question mark next to it. Click this orange question mark icon to allow the device to join your network. If you do not recognise a device, you can block the device from joining your network.

Find Hidden Cameras using Fing Mobile App 

• From the Dashboard, select  Tools from the bottom toolbar.
• Scroll down and select Find hidden camera located in the Improve Network Security section of the Tools page.
